He is a graduate of the North Carolina School of the Arts.
He has appeared in the films The Conjuring , The Hunger Games , The Front Runner , and Charlie Day's El Tonto.
His ex-wife is Dee Wagner. They have one son and a daughter, Emma Coulter.
He starred alongside Jennifer Lopez , Josh Duhamel and Jennifer Coolidge in the movie Shotgun Wedding in 2022.
