ABOUT STEVE FIORILLA

Known for focusing on the grotesque and surreal in his illustrations and sculptures. He also reviewed films under a pseudonym, Jacques Corédor.

His print work appeared in such publications as Heavy Metal, Video Games and Computer Entertainment, Moody Street Irregulars, and Horror from the Crypt of Fear.

His "Old Witch Mask" was featured in the second season of the HBO series "Tales from the Crypt" in the "Korman's Kalamity" episode from June 26, 1990.

He was born and raised in Paterson, New Jersey, and lived and worked in Buffalo, New York. He died in Buffalo when he was only 48.

He and artist Howard Pyle were both known for their illustrations.
