ABOUT STEVE KAUFMANN

Content creator, online social media personality, YouTube star, linguist, language enthusiast, and polyglot who has learned more than 20 languages. He is known for sharing techniques and resources to master many foreign languages.

His family moved to Montreal, Canada, when he was five years old. He studied politics at the Institut d'études politiques in Paris.

In 2003, he released a book titled The Linguist: A Personal Guide to Language Learning. He was a founder of the North American Polyglot Symposium. He has amassed more than 1.4 million subscribers on his Steve Kaufmann-lingosteve YouTube channel.

His sons are political scientist Eric Kaufmann and retired ice hockey player Mark Kaufmann.

He and Luca Lampariello are both YouTubers known for their language skills.
