ABOUT STEVE MCLENDON

Defensive lineman who began his NFL career with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2009; played in his first game in September, 2010, where he recovered a fumble against the Tennessee Titans; played college football at Troy University.

He played high school football at Carroll High School in Ozark, Alabama.

He was the Steelers' final cut in his first two seasons, but joined the team's practice squad both times.

He was born and raised in Ozark, Alabama.

He began his career playing under Steelers coach Mike Tomlin .
