ABOUT STEVE RIFKIND

Music entrepreneur and hip hop record producer, he is said to be a major influencer in the hip hop and rap genre since his start in the industry. He has been the CEO for Loud Records and SRC Records.

His father was a renowned record producer at Spring Records in New York and he began working for him in his youth, when the first rap albums were being recorded. He relocated to Los Angeles in 1986 where he managed an R&B group until 1988. He founded Loud Records in 1991.

He is very involved in philanthropic endeavors including Breast Cancer Awareness and other cancer societies.

He has a daughter Caroline and two sons Alex and Ryan. He was always very involved in their basketball careers.

He is closely affiliated with artists like the Wu Tang Clan and Akon.
