Bohemian Olympic sprinter known primarily for his appearances in the men's 200-meters, 300-meters and 400-meters events. He won a gold medal in the men's 400-meters during the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.

He began participating in track and field events as a teenager.

Along with winning a gold medal in the men's 400-meter at the 2020 Olympics, he also won a gold medal in the 400-meter at the 2019 World Championships in Doha, Qatar.
