Screenwriter known for his 2007 film Sinner, which won Brooklyn Arts Council International Film & Video Festival and Newport Beach Film Festival awards. Also a producer, he worked on the 2010 film Sironia.
He was born in El Paso, Texas on the Fort Bliss United States Army base.
He was once selected to spend a year in Tokyo as a Henry Luce Scholar.
He settled in Los Angeles with his wife Melissa.
Like director M. Night Shyamalan , he attended New York University's famed Tisch School of the Arts.
