ABOUT STONE GARRETT

Professional left fielder that was drafted by the Miami Marlins during the eighth round of the 2014 MLB Draft. He was later signed by the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2021.

He first began his professional career playing for the GCL Marlins. He was later sent to the Batavia Muckdogs

Following the COVID-19 shortened season in 2020, he was cut by the Marlins and began working in real estate. In fact, he earned his contract with the Diamondbacks after reconnecting with a MLB scout on LinkedIn. He elected to go pro instead of playing ball at Rice University out of high school.

He grew up living with his family in Sugar Land, Texas.

He is a native of the Sugar Land, Texas area just like Katie Armiger and Simeon Woods Richardson .
