He played cricket at Sydney University before entering the professional world of real estate, where he stayed for five years before pursuing cricket professionally.
He played first class cricked from 1998-2011, most notably for New South Wales.
He married Michelle Clark, and has two children with her.
In the 2006-2007 season for New South Wales he recorded a hat trick, with one of his wickets coming off of Marcus North .
