ABOUT SUBOI

Vietnamese rapper, singer, songwriter, and actress who is known as Vietnam's queen of hip hop. Since beginning her singing career in 2010, she has released albums such as 2010's Walk, 2014's Run, and 2021's No Nê. In 2015, she made her debut as an actress in the horror film Hollow.

Prior to her singing career, she worked as an English teacher.

In 2015, she was invited to perform at the South by Southwest festival and was the first Vietnamese artist to receive an invite.

Her mother was an office worker, and her father worked as a factory manager.

As a teenager, she sharpened her English-speaking skills by listening and rapping along with American artists like Eminem .
