Sudhamoy Pramanick

ABOUT SUDHAMOY PRAMANICK

Indian National Congress member who belonged to Gandhi's Satyagraha movement and campaigned for Indian independence. He was a lifetime secretary of the Tili Samaj, a societal benefit organization.

He earned a law degree from the University of Calcutta.

He was instrumental in passing the historic Lahore Resolution, which led to Indian independence from England.

He was the oldest of ten siblings.

He and Indian Prime Minister, Rajendra Prasad , attended Presidency College, Kolkata during the same period.
