Entrepreneur, digital marketer, and public speaker known for his 2022 TED Talk titled "How to Plant an Idea in Someone's Mind." He is also known for founding Night Owls, a digital marketing agency based in New York City. He has gained over 170,000 followers to his sun.yi Instagram account where he shares inspirational advice about business, self-improvement, and success.

He has worked in digital branding for over 20 years. He graduated from Binghamton University in 1999. He also studied at the New York Film Academy.

In 2021, he launched his podcast "Authentic As F*ck Podcast" on his Sun Yi YouTube channel.

He was born and raised in the United States.

He has worked with Jay Shetty through his marketing agency Night Owls.
