Emmy Award-winning actress best known for portraying Dr. Laura Spencer Horton on the soap opera Days of Our Lives and Stephanie Forrester on the soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful .

She graduated from Stephens College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in theater.

She won a Daytime Emmy Award for her role on Days of Our Lives and three Daytime Emmy Awards for her role on The Bold and the Beautiful.

She has an adopted daughter named Blaise Flannery.

She has appeared on The Bold and the Beautiful with Ian Buchanan .
