ABOUT SUSAN NEVILLE

Novelist, essayist, and short story author who is best known for works such as In the House of Blue Lights, Falling Toward Grace: Images of Religion and Culture, and Sailing the Inland Sea. She won the Richard Sullivan prize for the former.

She was a student at DePauw University prior to getting a master's from Bowling Green State University.

She has taught classes at St. Petersburg Junior College, Ball State University, and Indiana University East. She won the Catherine Doctorow Prize for Innovative Fiction in 2019.

She is married to Ken Neville.

Both she and HP Lovecraft wrote award-winning short stories.
