Legendary Blues singer and guitarist that was awarded the BB King Entertainer of the Year award in 2007 during the Blues Music Awards. With the influence of his music career, he founded the 'Voice of the Wetlands' which is a non-profit organization that collaborates with popular musicians to promote awareness about Louisiana's coastline recession. In 2010, he was inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame.

He first began making a name for himself in the music industry as a teenager performing at music clubs all across Louisiana. He eventually released his debut single "Nice and Warm" in 1992.

During his peak, he claims that he would typically perform over 250 shows a year internationally.

He was born and raised in Houma, Louisiana.
