ABOUT TAEKO OHNUKI
Japanese singer and songwriter who became famous in the city pop genre. She is known for her 1977 album Sunshower and her Europe trilogy of albums.
In 1973, she formed Sugar Babe with musicians Tatsuro Yamashita and Kunio Muramatsu.
In 2006, she sang the theme song for Animal Crossing: The Movie based on Nintendo's Animal Crossing .
Her father, Kenichiro Onuki, was a member of the Japanese Special Attack Units during the Second World War.
She and Gackt are both famous Japanese singers.
