American actress who became famous for her horror roles as Samantha Thomas in the slasher film Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers , Laura in an episode of the anthology series Freddy's Nightmares, and a cameo role as a mother in the slasher film Terrifier 2 .
She began her career as a teenager in the late 1980s, appearing in television shows such as Miami Vice and Growing Pains .
She is the hostess and co-founder of the Hot Springs Horror Film Festival. In Halloween 5, she is famously killed off by the film's masked antagonist Michael Myers .
Her mother Donna Dodson was an executive assistant on the 1989 television film L.A. Takedown.
She starred alongside Donald Pleasence and Danielle Harris in the movie Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers .
