ABOUT TANNER BANKS
Southpaw reliever that was drafted by the Chicago White Sox during the 18th round of the 2014 Major League Draft. He was selected out of Salt Lake Community College. Following the 2022 regular season, he was named one of the White Sox's top 100 MLB prospects.
He first began his professional career playing for the AZL Rookie Affiliate team. He was later sent to the Kannapolis Intimidators.
He made his official major league debut pitching against the Detroit Tigers on April 10, 2022. He pitched two scoreless innings in a 10-1 win. His first MLB season saw him record over 40 strikeouts while appearing in over 30 games.
Growing up, he lived with his family in Riverton, Utah. He now lives with his wife, Chandler, and their two sons.
He played alongside Luis Robert and Tim Anderson during his MLB debut.
