She first began acting at only four years old with appearances in commercials. By fourteen she was modeling and by seventeen she was participating in beauty pageants.
She studied business administration at the American University in Cairo.
She was born to an Egyptian father and a Yugoslavian mother.
Both she and Laila Elwi are popular actresses from Egypt.
