ABOUT TAREK EL-TELMISSANY
One of Egypt's most famous cinematographers, he became known mostly for working on documentaries.
He became Director of Photography for his first feature in 1983, Kharaga Wa lam Ya'od.
He has received a number of awards from Cairo International Film Festival, M-NET festival in South Africa and Mediterranean Countries Festival.
His father Hassan was also a cinematographer.
He worked in the same field as famous American Director of Photography Roger Deakins .
