ABOUT TARO YAMASAKI

Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer who documented the daily lives of inmates in Jackson Prison.

He moved to New York City in 1968 after dropping out of the University of Michigan during his senior year.

He won the Pulitzer Prize for Feature Photography in 1981 for a photograph he took inside Jackson Prison.

He has two sons with his second wife, Susan Waderlow, who he married in 1978.

He took photos of Jeffrey Dahmer 's apartment shortly after he was arrested.
