Cricketer who won the World Cup as a member of the Indian Under-19 team in 2008. He made his Raniji Trophy debut later that season and went on to become the captain of Punjab.

He was born in Jalandhar, Punjab and debuted in Vijay Merchant Trophy during the 2005-06 season.

He was named the Best Batsman of the Tournament at the Kings XI Cup in 2009.

His father Sushil was a swimmer and water polo player.

He has been teammates with Harbhajan Singh at Pubjab.
