ABOUT TARYN MILLER
Singer recognized for her ethereal voice and indie beats, they are known for the stage pseudonym Your Friend. They released their debut EP Jekyll/Hyde in 2014 and followed in 2016 with their debut studio album Gumption.
After studying music at Cowley Community College, they transferred to the University of Kansas to pursue a degree in linguistics.
They paid for the production of their EP Jekyll/Hyde with the winnings from a battle of the bands hosted by their college radio station.
They are a long-time Kansas native, having been born in Winfield and later settling in Lawrence.
Throughout 2014, they toured with Australian singer Courtney Barnett .
