She grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana, before moving to Atlanta, Georgia, to attend Clark Atlanta University.

Her career took off after she began appearing in music videos for artists such as Gucci Mane , Chris Brown , Lil Yachty , Rae Sremmurd , and Future .

In 2005, her family relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, after Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans.

She attended Isaiah T. Creswell Middle Magnet School of the Visual and Performing Arts in Nashville, Tennessee, as a classmate of actress Natalia Dyer .
