Grammy-nominated Nigerian singer, songwriter, and composer known for her unique music and voice, which has been described as deep, velvety, and androgynous. She is also known for her collaborations with musicians like Drake and Khalid as well as for her original music. In 2021, her second EP, If Orange Was a Place, reached the top ten on the Billboard World Albums chart. Her 2022 single "Free Mind" gained immense popularity.
While at school, she learned to play the piano. She practiced singing with her brother playing guitar. In 2018, she quit her job to pursue music and recorded her original song "Mr. Rebel."

Her real name is Temilade Openiyi. Her British-Nigerian father and Nigerian mother moved to the United States shortly after she was born. Five years later they divorced and she moved back to Nigeria with her mother. She also has a brother.
