He was spotted by legendary coach Joey Muwadzuri at age 15 and invited to play for the under-19 side at the National Schools festival.
He became a member of the South Africa Springboks in 2008.
He was born in 1985 in Harare, Zimbabwe.
He and Ryan Kankowski both played for the Sharks.
