ABOUT TEOSCAR HERNáNDEZ

Professional outfielder who was signed by the Houston Astros as an international free agent in 2011. He was traded to the Toronto Blue Jays in July 2017. He received his first Silver Slugger award in 2020, and he was a first-time All-Star in 2021.

He began his professional career playing for Houston's rookie affiliate team the GCL Astros.

He made his major league debut playing against the Blue Jays on August 12, 2016, as a member of the Astros. He began playing for the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2024.

He was born in Cotui, Dominican Republic. Hernández and his wife Jennifer have three sons.

His first career hit was a solo home run against Francisco Liriano .
