Peabody Award and 15 time Emmy Award-winning broadcast journalist who is widely recognized for her work with the Univision network. She has more than 160,000 followers on her verified tererodrigueztv Instagram account.

She began her career with Univision in 1982 as a co-anchor. She was the first Latina woman to host a national news program in the US.

In 2013, New York Moves magazine named her as one of the Most Powerful Women of the year. Her "En Cuerpo Ajeno" report in 2016 won her a GLAAD award. She is the author of a book titled The Daughters of Juárez: A True Story of Serial Murder South of the Border.
