ABOUT TERRY DENTON
Author, illustrator and fine artist who wrote and illustrated more than 30 of his own books. He has also done illustrations for several notable Australian authors. His book Felix and Alexander won the CBC Picture Book of the Year in 1986.
He studied architecture, but realized it wasn't for him. He attempted to find the artwork that best fit him, trying out animation, painting, sculpting and more, before finding illustration.
He won more than 15 children's choice awards in Australia. He worked for the children's TV show Lift-Off.
He was born the 2nd youngest of 5 boys. He married and had 3 kids of his own.
He became well known for his partnership with author Andy Griffiths .
