He's authored several books on the subject including the novel Game Recognize Game and the non-fiction books It's Not That Complicated and Dating and Compatibility Guide.

He graduated with a B.A. in Film and Television Production from Southern University and he's worked as a middle school teacher as well as for State Farm Insurance.

He also co-hosts a dating, love and relationships podcast called More Than Love.
