ABOUT TERRY MATALAS

Screenwriter and director who co-created the SyFy time travel series 12 Monkeys. He was a showrunner on the fourth season of the CBS series MacGyver . He was a showrunner on the second and third seasons of the Paramount+ series Star Trek: Picard .

He graduated from Emerson College .

He worked on shows including Star Trek: Voyager , Star Trek: Enterprise, Terra Nova , and Nikita . In the year 2024, Matalas was hired by Marvel Studios to serve as showrunner for a Marvel Cinematic Universe TV series starring the character Vision, set for release in 2026.

In 2006, he married actress and writer Amy Earhart. As a child, he and his father watched Star Trek: The Next Generation .

He co-created 12 Monkeys which starred Aaron Stanford and Amanda Schull .
