ABOUT TERRY SCOTT
British screen actor and comedian whose credits include the Carry On film series, and the BBC1 sitcom, Terry and June.
He grew up in Watford, Hertfordshire as the youngest of three children. Before beginning his acting career, he took accounting classes and served in the British Navy.
He co-starred with Hugh Lloyd in the early 1960s television series, Hugh and I.
He married dancer Margaret Peden in 1957, after divorcing his first wife, Mary Howard. He and Peden became parents to four daughters.
He and June Whitfield co-starred in Happy Ever After and Terry and June and also appeared together in the film Bless This House.
