ABOUT THEA ANDREWS

Canadian television journalist, actress, entertainer, artist, performer, newscaster, and anchor who has anchored for several well-known and popular networks including ABC, CBS and ESPN. She has also appeared on several other television shows including True Blood , The Young and the Restless, American Horror Story, Torchwood and Playmakers.

While in high school, she was a reporter for a local cable channel. She was interested in sports before she became interested in theater. She studied Spanish at Queen's University.

She was a committee member of the Good Plus Foundation, which works to break the cycle of family poverty. Andrews also has a list of theatre credits, including Cabaret in high school and The Vagina Monologues in 2001. She has also produced several shows in addition to writing internet columns for TSN. Andrews had a small role in the film Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle as the TV anchorwoman.

She married Jay Wolf in 2007, and has two sons.

She hosted CMT's Next Superstar, a country music star competition produced by Nigel Lythgoe .
