Born Roy Wayne Farris, wrestled for WCW and WWF; WWF Intercontinental Champion.

He graduated from the University of Memphis with a B.S. degree in Education.

He coached football for two seasons at Munford High School in Munford, Tennessee.

His cousin Jerry 'The King' Lawler became a wrestle as well.

He was challenged by Randy Savage for the Intercontinental title in 1987.
