Tiit Vahi

ABOUT TIIT VAHI

Estonian politician who was the Prime Minister of Estonia from 1995 to 1997. He worked to transition Estonia's economy into the free market.

He studied engineering at Tallinn Technical University.

He also served as acting Prime Minister for a few months in 1992, while the government was in transition.

He is the son of Priit and Neisa Vahi.

He became Prime Minister of Estonia while Dmitry Medvedev was beginning his political career in Russia.
