ABOUT TIM BOWENS
Pro Bowl defensive tackle who played college football at the University of Mississippi and spent 11 seasons in the NFL with the Miami Dolphins.
He was all-state in football and played basketball as well at Okolona High School in Mississippi.
When he was still in school, he lost three toes in a lawnmower accident but remained as effective as ever athletically.
He grew up with his family in Okolona, Mississippi.
He played alongside Hall-of-Fame quarterback Dan Marino on the Dolphins.
