ABOUT TIM FARRISS
Guitarist for the 1980s rock group INXS who also pursued a successful solo career.
He formed the band Guinness, the precursor to INXS.
He was trained on classic guitar by a member of the Australian Symphony Orchestra.
His family moved from Perth to Sydney, where Farriss met his future bandmate Kirk Pengilly .
He wrote and recorded "Any Day But Sunday" for the 1984 film No Small Affair, which starred Demi Moore .
