ABOUT TIMI DAKOLO

Singer and winner of the first season of Idols West Africa. He released a popular 2011 single entitled
"There's a Cry."

He helped establish the band Purple Love in 2003.

He won the G.E FACTO contest before competing in Idols West Africa.

He was born in Accra, Ghana but later became a Nigerian citizen.

Dakolo and Tiwa Savage both had singing careers in Nigeria.
