ABOUT TIMOTHY FINDLEY
A Canadian author and playwright, he is best known for The Last of the Crazy People and The Wars, published during the 1960s and 1970s, respectively.
He attended St. Andrew's College and went on to perform as an actor in the world-famous Stratford Festival.
Despite the fact that he was a homosexual, he had a brief marriage to actress Janet Reid.
He was the long-term partner of writer Bill Whitehead.
He was a close friend of actress Ruth Gordon .
