Angolan singer, dancer, kuduro musician and activist. In 2012, her collaboration with Angolan singer Ary, "Ohla O Boneca" was a statement about equal love. In 2013, she was named a goodwill ambassador for UNAIDS.
She began her career as a backup dancer.
Her stage name is Portuguese for worthless or useless. She chose that name to reclaim words people have used against her as a trans woman.
Her Congolese background influences her music.
She said she is inspired by artists including Pepe Kalle and Koffi Olomide .
