ABOUT TJ FRIEDL

Professional outfielder that was signed by the Cincinnati Reds as an undrafted free agent. He began his professional career playing for the Billings Mustangs of the Pioneer League.

Prior to being signed, he attended the University of Nevada, Reno , where he was a member of the First Team All-Mountain West Conference as a junior.

He made his major league debut playing against the Los Angeles Dodgers on September 18, 2021.

He is related to hall of fame basketball coach John Calipari . He is marred to Dressa Friedl. In August 2025, they welcomed their son Jonah Jack.

He posted an Instagram reel featuring the song "From Here to the Moon and Back" by Dolly Parton in August 2025.
