ABOUT TJ PERENARA

New Zealand rugby union footballer who became known as a halfback for the Hurricanes and Wellington Lions.

He was a member of the 2011 IRB Junior World Championship-winning Under-20 New Zealand team.

He was born into a sports-centric family; his mother and grandmother were both softball players.

His father played rugby for the Junior Fijis.

He and Ross Kennedy both played for the Wellington Lions.
