ABOUT TODD CLEVER

American rugby union player best known as the captain of the United States national team and a flanker for teams like the NTT Shining Arcs. He is considered one of the best American rugby players of all time, being named the North American Rugby Player of the Decade.

He attended Santa Teresa High School in San Jose, California and began playing for the Under-19 United States team in 2000.

He is the first American rugby player ever to play in the Super 14 league.

His older brother Chris also played rugby.

He was teammates with Hayden Smith on the American squad at the 2011 Rugby World Cup.
