ABOUT TOM DESANTO

Hollywood film producer, filmmaker, screenwriter, and writer who is best recognized for his work on several popular and well-known blockbusters such as the X-Men and Transformers franchises. His franchises have gone on to make more than $5 billion worldwide.

He graduated from Rutgers University in the year 1990.

DeSanto's passion for the Transformers led to Hasbro signing over the rights for a movie adaptation. He took the first treatments to DreamWorks and the company green lit his vision. He was named as the Guardian of the Library for Gary Gygax 's estate.

He is from New Jersey.

He collaborated with Michael Bay on the Transformers films.
