Late English soccer player and manager who played for six clubs during his career, including Huddersfield Town from 1952 to 1956. He later became the manager for teams like Brentford.
He was born in Liverpool and began his professional playing career with Preston North End in 1948.
He was so notorious for his use of foul language during matches that he was forced to remain behind the side line during them.
He was survived by his wife, Doris. He had five children.
He and Mark Warburton both served as the manager for Brentford.
