Blind since birth, he is a film critic who posts movie reviews to his YouTube channel Blind Film Critic with the help of his director and editor Ben Churchill .

He worked as a traffic reporter on the radio for more than 20 years with the help of commuters and a police scanner.

He has another channel called TommyEdisonXP where he humorously answers questions about being blind.

He is from Greenwich, Connecticut and has a sister.

His reviews were endorsed by Roger Ebert after Ebert posted a couple of Tommy's reviews to his blog.
