ABOUT TOMMY EDMAN

Infielder and outfielder who was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the sixth round of the 2016 Major League Baseball draft. As a junior at the University of Stanford in 2016, he was a member of the Pac-12 Conference first team.

He attended La Jolla Country Day School in San Diego, California where he was an All-Academic Team member.

He hit his first career home run on June 20, 2019, against the Miami Marlins . He has accumulated more than 140,000 followers on his Instagram account.

He is the son of John Edman, Jr. and Maureen Kwak. His father is a teacher and the varsity baseball coach at La Jolla Country Day School. He and his wife Kristen got married on November 23, 2019.

He and Yadier Molina were teammates during the 2019-20 season.
