ABOUT TOMMY NOBIS

Five-time Pro Bowl linebacker who played in the NFL from 1996 to 1976 for the Atlanta Falcons and was the 1966 Defensive Rookie of the Year.

He was a two-time All-American playing college football for the Texas Longhorns.

He was named to the NFL 1960s All-Decade Team.  Many people consider him to be the greatest player in the history of the Atlanta Falcons franchise.

He was born in San Antonio, Texas. He was married to Lyn Nobis up until his death. He had children named Devon, Tommy, and Kevin.

Linebacker Marion Rushing was his teammate on the Falcons.
