ABOUT TOMMY RALL
Dancer most famous for his appearances in Hollywood musicals of the 1950's, such as "Kiss Me Kate." He was known for his versatility, being adept at a variety of dance styles including tap, ballet and acrobatic.
He grew up in Seattle and moved with his family to Los Angeles in the 40's.
In 2007, it was revealed that a man named Frederic Bame had been successfully impersonating him and taking credit for his work since the late 1960's. Since no crime was technically committed, Bame's impersonation went unpunished.
He was married to Monte Amundsen, who co-starred with him in the 1959's "Juno," before marrying Karel Shimoff.
He appeared with "Psycho" actress Janet Leigh in the 1955 musical "My Sister Eileen."
