ABOUT TOMMY SEXTON
Canadian comedian who was the youngest member of the CODCO comedy troupe. He received the Earle Grey Award at the Gemini Awards posthumously in 2002.
He quit high school in Grade 10 to pursue acting and worked on a children's touring theatre show.
He studied briefly at the Toronto Dance Theatre in 1975.
He was openly gay and died due to complications from AIDS. His sister, Mary worked as a filmmaker on a documentary about him in 2001.
He was a Canadian comedian like Rick Mercer .
